	Sherri-Lynn Hamilton Hello As the Director of Little Scholars I love to create enthusiastic environments that make learning a happy, fun filled journey for the children. I have 20 years experience teaching professionally in kindergarten, school-age and preschool programs. Since opening Little Scholars in 1997 I have had plenty of opportunities in this challenging and responsible position to use and improve communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills, supervisory skills, stress management skills, teaching skills, listening skills and of course the love of working with children. I received my Early Childhood Education certificate at Northern Lights University and my Licence in 2000. My husband, Bill, and I now have a quiet home life as our two sons have moved out on their own. Our oldest son is married with three children and living in Gibsons. Our younger son is still single and living in Vancouver. I have to say at Little Scholars we have a great group of fully qualified and caring teachers. This in turn creates a great learning environment for the children you have entrusted to our care and we thank-you and appreciate your support.
	Darlene Streicker About me...My name is Darlene Streicker. I have been a worker at Little Scholars for 12 years. I am presently managing the After-school program at Little Scholars Child Care. I love working with children of all ages. My husband, Steve, and I have 5 children of our own - ages 20 to 28. We also have 3 precious grandchildren. Some of my interests are music, antiques, and coin collecting. Some of my favourite activities are canoeing, swimming, horseback riding, and doing puzzles. My experience at Little Scholars is filled with special memories shared with special people, and I look forward to more of the same in the time to come.!!
	Judy Edmunds Married to husband Neil, mother of two daughters Amy and Emily, and grandmother to Madison three years old and Sadie who is one year. I have lived on the Sunshine Coast in Sechelt for over three years after moving here from Langley BC. As my two daughters made their own way out into the world I began to look for a change from my twenty year career in the nursing field. Wanting to work with children, I spent a couple of years volunteering at Fraser Valley preschools and day cares before finally deciding that I would like to further this work into a career- that this was work that I found to be both rewarding and fun. I enrolled in Early Childhood Education classes at the University of the Fraser Valley and graduated with a certificate in Family Childcare in 2006, a certificate in Early Childhood Education in 2007, and achieved my British Columbia Licence to Practice in 2008. Neil and I love living here on the coast enjoying boating, kayaking, hiking, and camping in this spectacularly beautiful and natural area. We love to visit with our family and friends and we enjoy traveling to all parts of our world. The Sunshine Coast has been such a friendly and welcoming place for us, giving us a life that we truly enjoy. I love my work at Little Scholars Preschool and Daycare where I get to work in a happy supportive environment that allows me to work with children and help them to get a good start in both education and life.
